With his father in lockdown and his mother on the other side of the country contemplating re-marriage, Ray Jr. is alone and fending for himself. Though his bond with Sadie is re-ignited, things are not as they were. Sadie is angry and unable to fully deal with the trauma she has endured at the hands of Ray Jr.’s father. Saddened by his father’s troubled past, Ray Jr. tries to balance forgiving the man who destroyed his life and loving the girl who wants to put his father behind bars forever.
