About the Show

Sanctuary follows the adventures of the beautiful, enigmatic and always surprising Dr. Helen Magnus, her new recruit, forensic psychiatrist Dr. Will Zimmerman and her fearless daughter Ashley. With the help of quirky tech-whiz Henry, they use their unique combination of instinct, medicine and cutting edge technology to protect us from the dangerous creatures that lurk in the corners of our civilization.

Starring Amanda Tapping (Stargate SG-1), Robin Dunne (Dawson’s Creek), Emilie Ullerup (Battlestar Galactica), Christopher Heyerdahl (Stargate Atlantis) and Ryan Robbins (Battlestar Galactica), Sanctuary braves fascinating new worlds in every episode. The series is also credited with pioneering new techniques and technologies in television production. One of the only series to shoot extensively on green screen using extraordinary visual effects and virtual sets, Sanctuary is also the first North American series to shoot with the RED camera, a digital system that captures images at four times the resolution of a high definition camera, resulting in a look that is unmatched on television.
